Now will somebody please come over and install it?

Don't let Dennis scare you...he's a busy man, working diligently on our next mod...(hopefully the long-awaited cold air package)...he may sound abrupt on the phone, but he'll be there when you need him...
The chip, plugs and 'stat you can do yourself with simple hand tools; better leave the gears to a professional shop that specialises in rear ends and such. You're welcome to PM me if you have any questions or issues with any of the above... :D

With the FAQ here, and some time, you can do it! Installing the parts yourself saves some money, its simple, and it brings you closer to your car.

OK. Marauder Brothers! Bear with me please! Patience!
What's "the package" gonna set me back $ wise? I don't really think I want to change the rear end gears though.
'Just want to get a an improvement over stock conditions, not any serious mods, at least at this point!
And what's this I hear about the engine cutting out around 100+mph and the driveshaft coming apart? That is major cause for concern for a performance car! What ARE the facts?

OK, for the package price, best to contact Dennis directly ("prices subject to change", etc...)
As far as the motor "cutting out" and things "coming apart", you didn't hear that on THIS board...? This car, like most nowadays, has a rev limiter to keep from over-revving the motor, and a speed governor to keep the car below some max speed (I can't recall offhand...something 117 maybe?). The driveshaft only becomes an issue if you have the top-speed limiter removed or altered AND regularly drive at those ridiculous speeds AND you have the gear ratio changed. If you're leaving the gears stock, it shouldn't be an issue...
