Tints in South Florida

My friend was showing me the tints he got that was a flat rate of $80 for a four door car. While they were not bad you could see a few bubbles here and there. I plan on going 20% all around, maybe even 15%. So does anyone know of a good place to get tints down here? Especially around Kendall.

Yeap. Try Solar Tint in South Miami. Off of Sunset and 67th. Or try Dream Cars next to the Home Depot at Kendall & 127th.

The legal tint in Florida on the sides is 28%
probably can get by with 20%....still haven't heard
of anybody in Florida who had to have a redo!

Book em dano! MarauderMark got whacked by the Palm Beach Sherriff's office a couple of nights ago and received a birthday present. $74.50 citation in recognition of his superior tint scheme. Recommend checking with a reliable tint shop on the legal issues. Fine and the cost to redo. Yikes. Dennis:cool:

As for my ticket, it was the first time I have ever been harassed for it since getting it 14 months ago. I have been pulled over a few times for other things (okay....it was speeding) and the most I ever got was a "...oh and your tint looks a little dark", but no ticket, fine, warning, anything. Probably has to do with "the Crown Vic effect". my tint is 4% all around according to his tint meter. You could probably do 15% all around and probably never get bothered. As for the 74.50, whatever, its a small price to pay for what makes me happy. I just hope to never get a "fix it and show a cop or else....!" ticket. That would suck.

Yeah I realize its past the legal tint and I can accept the consequences if it came down to it. How much did you all end up paying for tints? I'm going to call the places Rick mentioned tom. and see what they say about cost and going with 20%

I paid like $80 and I have 5% on the rear and 20% on the front
I had mine done in Opa Locka on 135th St
