Is there a way to remove this and put some flat black trim on? I think that would look sick to be completely "blacked" out.

Some members used black tape to cover the chrome trim.
I'am sure they will chime in.

Yes it does...;)

I'm not sure if I like it or not yet...I sure don't want to just put tape over it.

I haven't done it yet but, I checked with the company who did my window tint, they quoted me $100.00 out the door. They said they would use what ever width tape they needed to to cover the induivial sections so the tape is only seamed at the joints of the actual trim pieces. (Pinstripe tape)

Rod.

Wouldn't it peel off with 100* summers and 0* winters?

You can use Blackout tape sold at some auto parts stores Autozone, i know for sure carries it. Works great, one of the first things i did when i got the car. Best applied when outside temp is about 45 or above. Make sure you overlap at least 1/8". Heat from the sun sets it up just right and it doesn't fade.

At our NorthEast Marauder Meet at Hooters, I saw MTAMERC9's car and he used Blackout tape around the window chrome and it looked as if he painted it on. It was real smooth and unless you really stare at it, Theres no way of telling that its tape. I may do the same when the weather warms up.

No.

There is a product called blackout tape out there. I found it at Autozone.

Ditto, it won't come off till you take it off. I've used it for years here in St.Louis from temps as low as -5 to as high as 110 it doesn't change. It says for " that euro look" on the package and is enough to do at least three MMs.
