stuck in reverse

my '03 is at the dealer. Anyone ever hear of the trans having trouble getting into reverse. Usually only when car is warm, it takes maybe 3-6 seconds to engage.

my '03 is at the dealer. Anyone ever hear of the trans having trouble getting into reverse. Usually only when car is warm, it takes maybe 3-6 seconds to engage.

That usually is an indicator pf low pressure.
I've had it happen on other cars, and replacing the Valve Body
will sometimes remedy it.
If that doesn't work, then it needs an overhaul/replacement.

Sometimes an improperly adjusted cable could do that, too.

I was snooping around in the SCT software and found a computer adjustment for engagement time into reverse.
Ill play with it when it gets warm again.
