Well I spent some "quality time" with my oldest son yesterday at the local pool hall. My final tally was 2-13 out of 15 games. :o My two W's were courtesy of a couple scratches on some fancy 8-ball shots. I take 'em as I get 'em. ;) The good news is that his medical problem this year has not affected his game at all. :D Well maybe I'll do better next year .....

That is great Blue. there is no better time that time with our children. The catch is that after they leave that time becomes harder and harder to get and much more valuable. Funny how the paradigm changes. they value our time when they are young, we value theirs as we advance in age. Good on you at Christmas. Dennis:)

Our games were backgammon and golf. He travelled extensively for his work, so I only got to see him for any length of time on the week-ends. I fondly remember caddying for him and having marathon backgammon "tounaments" with him during the snowy months. Although he rarely showed overt affection, I am sure he counted these times together as something special; as did I. Charlie, it is great to see your son up and about and kicking you a$$!
