My car was included in the calender put out by a site called "Detroit Racing.net". It is quite an honor for them to include my car since there are some serious racers on that site. Just another honor bestowed on my car this year.

That's what I love about that picture. The rears do look wide. That photographer that was at Milan during Dream Cruise week was real good.

Never thought about that. Maybe the bus that I rode to school will be part of the Henry Ford Museum one day.

Congrats!!! Pretty cool getting published, huh? ;)
Who chose the picture to go in the calendar? I ask because your car is chopped off on the right and the rear. Is there a reason why they didn't use more background?

Congratulations Darryl. That's a terrific photo, and I agree with the other guys, the angle, and B&W photo make those tires look a mile wide, and give the fronts that skinny drag bad-a$$ look. :bows:
If you could get one of those calenders for me, and send it, I'll gladly reimburse the costs for shipping & such.

Great Photo! It's so good I've just ordered two calendars. Bigslim: Wille Nelson's song says it best--"You're always on my mind...",
What size rear and front tires are you using?
It's hard to believe that the rear tires are only 9.5 in. wide. They look at least 12 in. wide in the calendar picture.
What's that small black thing just above the middle of your windshield?

Those are 305/55 on the rear. The fronts are stock. One thing you have to remember is I was only running about 18-20 pds of air at that time. The black thing on the roof is the antenna for my Sirius radio. Here is the original picture taken that day.
