3rd Annual Sunshine State Marauders Picnic Date and Time

Our 3rd Annual SSm picnic :beer: will be held on Sunday Feb 19th at Markham Park ( the same location as last year ) from 11:00am - 3:00pm. The address to the park is 16001 West State Road 84
Sunrise, FL 33326. I will be going there early in the morning to get a good spot and set up. We will be having hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and sodas. For those of you who would like to drink something stronger than soda it BYOB:beer: . If anyone would like to bring any special dishes ( potato salad, fruit salad, regular salad etc... ) then please feel free to do so. The price of admission to the park is $1 per person. If anyone would like to help out, I will be collecting donations to help fund the picnic. Last year we had 22 marauders and around 50 people. Since then we have grown to almost 80 or so members. So who is up for a good old fasion Bar-B-Q????????Lets try to make this years picnic better than last years. Oh I almost forgot about the raffel. One of our members is going to donate a big portrait of a marauder for the raffel. If there are any vendors out there that would like to donate something to the raffel please let me know by sending me a PM....I hope to see everyone there so who's coming......Send me a PM and reply to this thread and let me know who is coming and how many you will be bringing with you so we can have enough food for all of us........:beer: :banana: :party: :party1:

I'd like to organize a crusie from Central Florida. We could meet in east orlando along say SR50. Then cruise over to I-95 and pick up cruisers along the way. We would cut over to Turnpike at Ft Pierce and then over to the Sawgrass Expressway down to I-595. I-595 and Sawgrass are right there at Markham park if I recall correctly.

Hey if you have a model airplane and like to fly I think this a one of the greaty places to do so.

Who is up for this plan? Jim you could pick up folks from Jacksonville and points south then we could meet at SR50 Cracker Barrel.

Ed, that sounds good, don't know about CB as the best way to get to Ft Lauderdale from here is down 95 to the turnpike in Ft. Pierce or so...

I hope some more BOOM ( central Fla. ) members decide to come as well.
