First, just wanted to thank everyone for their effort with this site...I have been lurking in the shadows for the last month or so, whilst doing some research on a Marauder purchase. The info here has been very helpful. I was surprised to see the difference in production #'s on '03 vs. '04, that certainly explains the model year skewing in the # of vehicles I saw for sale based on year.
Last Friday, I picked up an Black, moonroof equipped '04 with 23k on it from a local dealer...I had been prepared to hop a plane up to Michigan to grab one of several that had been advertised, gone back and forth on price, practically had a plane ticket booked and just happened to come across this one almost in my backyard! Well, I cannot tell you how much I _love_ driving this car!! It is just a great ride. In pretty nice shape overall, except for needing a new pair of rear tires, what a surprise :).
I'm pretty much a keep-it-stock kinda guy, and with the exception of a bit more exhaust rumble(I would appreciate any ideas on that), I don't think I'll be making any changes soon.
That's about it, look forward to meeting some of you guys along the way.

Congrats on the MM and welcome to the site. I have never seen light flint leater on a black MM before. Most have been DTR, DPB, or SB with the light flint interior.
About the "rumble" I intalled flowmasters. I am very happy with them. Many good members here have opted for the Magnaflows and are very happy with them as well. Also, if you want even more "rumble", contact Wes about res. delete tips. They made a huge difference in my MM.

Very nice ride I always liked the light flint interior. Nice Police photos as well,
Dennis R. (vender here) actually "hooks those FHP Marauders up" . Great
car, and if your interested we have God Heads emblems currently
being considered for production (see main page) to replace the
"hockey sticks" mercury emblems. Enjoy the new ride!

For a "little" more rumble contact Wes Chain at Innovative Interceptors, a vendor here on the MM net. He has a very nice Silencer Delete tip package you can install with little fuss. It's a direct replacement for our exhaust tips by the same manufacturer with the same quality materials, minus the silencer part
Most guys like to install them with an inch or so more showing, to help insulate the 2,000 RPM exhaust drone from the cabin.
Gordon, AKA HAGGIS, posted a very nice piece about a bolt on install, where he welded on flanges so he could switch back and forth.
We all got together at one of the CAM DOO's, and decided the cool rumble was worth at least 14.3HP.
While you're at it, order up a Shiney Hiney from Wes.:D

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the site and your new ride.
Mike,
Welcome aboard! We'll have to hook up some time. My wife likens my car to a big Mustang :D . She likes that cushy Grand Ma' ride of her car. If you'd like, PM me and we can 'Jaw' on the phone. That Light Flint interior wil stay cooler in the summer down here. I wanted Light Flint but was talked out of it by my wife due to the job conditions I work in. Probably a smart move for me (Yes, I admit my wife was right about a car issue!). There are a couple other members here locally - Amsoil Dealer, djv5150 and his son marauderboi, GA Marauder and a few in the outlying counties. Sounds like it's time to crash a Chevy meet, eh? Best of luck with the new "Machine".

You finally made a great decision and bought your Marauder. I bought my 2004 Marauder (DTR) back on June 5th, 2004, and have been fully satisfied ever since. Of course I love the handling, the performance and the comfort. One of the things that I think is really cool, is the exclusivity of driving a Marauder. I saw a black 2003-04 last week wednesday going to work, while driving through Roselle, Illinois. That was the first Marauder that i've seen on the road since last spring! Enough said.
My only regret so far, is that I haven't been able financially to make the mods that I want. I hope to do somethings next year. I had the read decklid spoiler installed by my selling dealer. They did a great job and it looks great. But I want to do a Trilogy S/C, really bad. The idea of driving a car with 450 HP is just too cool. I always wanted an ultimate performance car before I get too old to really enjoy it. But every so-called performance car that i've owned over the years has usually been a compromise. The Marauder isn't a comprise, except for more power, if you desire it. Then there are all of the misc. add-on goodies, such as the 4.10:1 gears, diff cover, Metal-matrix drive shaft, K&N induction set-up, etc., just to name a few. The Marauder is very similar to the recent Mustang GT's in that you can pump up the performance to the max, if you desire, or, you can leave it alone as-is. Well, enjoy your new Marauder.

Welcome to the collective. I have the DR Cobra exhaust flowing through all stock piping. Nice sound and performance improvement, no embarassing V&T stops. "Sport exhausts" are on the hit list up here.

Welcome 423Reed, Great to have another Marauder in the neighborhood. Have you joined Sunshine State Marauders yet? Do that first thing. Great group, great guys. We have a fine bunch here on the West Coast and have been fumbling around trying to get a meet started here on a regular basis without much success yet. I guess a couple of us have to announce a meet and start meeting? Nice car and a great shot. I think at last count there are 80 SSM members. Please join us. Dennis

Thanks for the welcome. I put in a request to join the Sunshine State MM group, figure that's a good way to get going...
Also, placed an order today with Car for the Gods Head Emblems, F/R and steering wheel..for that kind of quality at that price, it's a no-brainer, IMHO...let's hope they get made!
