well i am at 29k and just about ready for second set :( my MM has traction control i know this may have been discussed before but could not find thread . So can i go same size all around this time want to go same size as rear i do recall possabley that i can't do this because of traction control? sure would look better with more meat on the front and are my only replacement options the bfg g forces? thanks for help!

I remember reading a post that said the traction control will activate and apply the brakes when the same size tires are put on front and rear. It could only be driven with the traction control turned off. I was wondering if anyone has installed 1 size wider (10 mm) all around; 245/50-18 front and 255/55-18 rear? You can buy other brands besides BFG in these sizes.

You need to preserve the tire size ratio. IE the back diameter is approximately 1.05 the front. There are several on line calculator that have all the tire sizes. I think Tire Rack and Discount Tire have them on the websites.
Here is the calculator for discount tires.

The combination you listed sounds workable, but I did not run the numbers on the calculator.

Tires in my sig. No rubbing of any kind. (which amazes me because the back ones are insane huge) I really wish the previous owner would of done 255/45/s in the rear too...the car looks kinda funny.

Do the 285's fit on the stock rim?
