I wish I could keep my stuff out like that. Last time I did that over $100 worth was missing  Now I have to haul around a huge rubbermaid bin in and out of my bedroom. Sweet setup though!
Sorry to hear about the MM, it'll be alright.

No worries here! I can account for every other scratch on her:(
Theft in the detailing business is one of my biggest pet peeves. It just ruins a company; especially one that's in its startup. Working in the industrial district doesn't help either.
I guess I have to add that compounding is something to do as sparingly as possible. I removed some pinstripes off of my previous Ranger that had been on the truck for 3 years. Sometimes lacquer thinner is a good starter to get rid of any paint or other abrasions befor you get serious. The Ranger turned out ok, for what I could do. The pinstripes were an oil-based paint and I knew the striper who did it the Wizard's (an Oklahoma striper) ex wife, Sandy. She uses lacquer thinner as she works to make corrections. Just put some wax back on after any areas you touch w/ lacquer or compound.
I like oil-based cleaner waxes, and then a protecting wax after that.
The shop gets so many samples I used to play with them sometimes. Well, not on this car though.
I am curious about Zaino. Everyone seems to be talking about it on here.
