Has anybody else checked the squareness of the mating surface of the Forged Wheels?
I am in the process of cleaning my wheels and noticed a ton of grime on the mating surface. I tried solvent, didn't cut it. I get to the point I use a sanding block with solvent and 660 paper. Does a great job cleaning it up, but what do I find, LOW SPOTS. Lots of them !
I continue along, now with a fine oil stone (that IS square), and as I'm working along I see the dreaded inner tire wear that haunts all of us. 2+2 ... could an unsquare mating surface be reaking such havok on our tires?

I would appreciate any Technical thoughts/experience on this subject.
Oh, and by the way, 660 emery paper and Carb Cleaner together does the trick on cleaning the inside of the wheels. Best done outside though...
