04 cobra swap

i have this friend and we both have 04 marauders so yesterday we raced and its usually a tie well this time his car jumped off the line from the light and left me by about 5 car lengths i was pissed so we raced again same out come so when we get back to my house i pop his hood and what do i see a 04 ford mustang cobra engine he swapped his engine from a rec yard for 1100 dollars plus a new trans man his car really moves now im looking for a engine swap now lol

MM's have the same as a Mach 1. its not as "boost" friendly as a 03/04 cobra engine. That must of been a pretty cool swap thou. I'd love to do something like that. Hell I think it would be cheaper to find a used 03/04 cobra engine and blower than a trilogy kit.

can the intake path on stock blower be reversed to face the drivers side instead of the traditional mustang right?

I'm not saying it's impossible, but many of us know exactly what's involved in such a swap. I kinda doubt this announcement. Supercharged '03/'04 Cobra powertrain for 1100 bucks? Yeah, right, long block assemblies from KarKraft are 7695. BTW, the "with tranny" is interesting too, that means manual, how did ya work this out?

I wanna know about this manual too... from what I understand that tranny doesn't push out cars very far, it's something I was actually wanting to do so interest abouts good sir please enlighten us, I'd love to see this, and can make it to detroit in under an hour :D

Hmmmm Who in there right mind would swap a 04 Marauder engine for a engine found in a junk yard?? Who would SELL a 04 Cobra engine for $1100 with the tranny??? Is it possible that your friend has the White Marauder with the Top Secret 04 Cobra Engine that was installed by accident and slipped through the cracks???
