Saw this:

Then this:

No blower? :shake:
The kit replaced the front and rear bumpers, added a huge rear integrated spoiler, included side skirts and door vents and ended with a custom fabricated hood blower assembly. As with most movie cars, the blower is not functional and is mounted to the hood itself. I hooked up the butterflies to the throttle so they move when accelerating.
I never saw the movie but I feel like I want my money back.

I've seen it on sale on ebay before. not sure how many of them they made though. It is disappointing that it is not really super charged. They even sold the ground effects separately sometime last year. Someone did a photoshop of it in all white. It didn't look so bad.

LOL its all show till you open the hood. Once open, it displays the
gutless SOHC covered with dust :shake:, Dust kind of describes the Crown
Vic.

I'll take the rims then sell the rest for scrap. Never did like the over done body cladding on this thing. But man are those wheels sweet.

This one says it has Grey interior, The Ebay one has blue. I seen this car for sale in a collector car trader magazine for $22k.
If it sold for less then $10k, Fine Ill bite, but who would really want to be seen driving a prop from a Crappy movie???
I personally would rather have the 67 GTO from the Movie "XXX"

That GTO from "xxx' brought $16,000 at the Barret-Jackson auction. Seen it on Speed Channel last night.

Good point. To be honest, I'd buy the damned car if it came with a guaranteed opportunity to run down Jimmy Fallon with it. Oh the poetic justice of it all...

I'd say make the blower functional ;) In the movie the box contained a procharger itself and nothing else(no pipes, couplings, nuts/bolts, ect...) then this taxi with no whine appeared. I'll dig it up later to see if it has a CV or MM/Mustang induction note. Chase scenes and the chicks in the bimmers were my only strong points of the movie.

My office Insures alot of NYC Medallion Taxi's. If any of them were found with a blower under the hood, I could only imagine what a TLC inspector would say.

The one that merc6 pointed out also said in the discription that the rear brakes were changed from disk to drum and the photo shop one says four wheel disk brakes...:coolman:

I actually like the rims on it. The body kit just needs to be toned down and the remove the fake blower scoop from the hood. If it had a procharger there would be a lot more interest.
