Although I'm recovering from my bypass surgery, my #2 son, Jason, keeper of the keys until I return, related this "kill" of an Infinity G-35 (05) yesterday.
While exercising the MM on I-49 after it's oil change and wash/wax job, a new G-35 pulls alonside, gives the MM a look over, drops back to the rear bumper and then floors the accelerator. Jason hears the spool up waits till he pulls slightly ahead and from 70MPH (OD off) launch's Silverback. He reels in the G-35 quickly and proceeds to make him a fading image in the rear view. At about 100+ the G-35 nose dips and he concedes.

good kill! Bet he didn't see that one comming at all! I have no cool stories like that cause it was only civics that downshift on me.

lil o.t. Was there a list of cars we could kill stock? I was gonna make a thread and say post yes or no next to a car I listed but wanted to see if one existed.

Pat, glad you are doing well and it is fun to crush those guys who get all testosteroned up, especially when they are driving high line big dollar wheels and think they can pick on us big old guys. I had a clown in a 7 series BMW all over me for about 5 miles on I75 in heavy traffic. We hit a clear patch and I was able to show him that a 75K car isn't necessarily king. The 06 750I is quite a ride and will do upper 13's in the quarter and 5.4 second 0-60 according to Car & Drinker. Not quite enough. This is one middle age guy who will a bit more selective, especially around the dreaded MM. Dennis:D

The G35 is a mouse compared to our MMs. Why people spend good money on rice thinking that they are getting high performance is beyond me.
