View Full Version : MM TC Stall Speed ??

I read in the FAQs it's rated at 2700 RPMs.

Is that accurate ??

I know a TCs Stall Speed is relative to the TQ applied, so the Stall Speed can actually vary between applications.

Just curious, cause I'm thinking about swapping a MM TC into my P71.

Thanks,

ERIC

Same with a 3500 stall. Will you get 3500 exact? No. This occurs with any stall.

So the Stallion is ONLY rated at 800 more RPMs than the OEM TC ??

I thought stallions were built to suit. Too much stall is worse than not enough anyway. 2700 is a realistic stall figure for any 11&1/4 4r70w converter.

you should already have an 11.25" tc in your pi. unless it is failing, i wouldn't bother.

I was told, by a reliable source, that the Marauders stock stall speed is just below 2000rpm's.

I have my PI one set at 2400rpm's and it works great with the Trilogy.

They have a 155k factor. That is the true measurement of them. If you only get 2000 stall out of them your engine is runing terribly or your rear brakes don't work at all.
