I got the MM out on the highway last weekend on a trip to Louisville, Ky. (Drove right past the Corvette museum in Bowling Green laughing both ways.)
The weather was fine and I had the cruise set at 90 mph. :banana2:
(I love driving in Tenn. and Ky., at least compared to Ohio with its troopers ever five miles.)
I'm zipping along in the left lane with everyone politely giving me plenty of room, when a white Eclipse proceeds to hug my rear bumper. :bounce:
I assume the driver thought I had a radar detector or somesuch. (I don't, I just know where the troopers are most likely to patrol.)
After a few miles of this driver mooching off my draft. I decided to see how serious she was ... WOT. In seconds, I'm hitting the stock limiter at 117 mph and the Eclipse is just a dot in the rear view. I can't wait to unlock the full potential when I get the chip done.
This car just loves to run. I practically had to pry the smile off my face after that trip -- the first time I hit the limit in almost 5,500 miles.
I can whole-heartedly recommend the Propellerhead's Spybreak! (Track 12 on the DecksanDrumsandRockandRoll album) as 5-minutes of pulse-racing fun for any drive.
