anyone see any sites with the same type of bully bar in front that cops have on their cars? I'd like one. might make more people get out of my way on the highway (they already think I'm a cop). Don't you guys/girls just love cheap thrills?

A big snow plow out front would work even better. LOL:)

darebren, i want one too. if you find a nice one that doesn't require cutting the front bumper, i would be interested. please send pics if you get one with detailed info. i saw one on a trooper car this morning and thought it would be a great addition to the MM. don't let the others talk you out of it. i brought this up before but got no acceptance.

It would give me too much desire to ... say ... bump STUFF.
How else would someone test a bumper gaurd any way?? :P:
If you guys are serious about a "cow-catcher", "push-bar", etc. Go over to www.blueovalnews.com and in the Crown Vic forums...there's a guy with the screen name "Sheriff" who would be glad to point you in the right direction on getting one....;)

OMG!
Catching my breath...Talk among yourselves...
I guess it's only fitting that after a 3 week absence, this is the first post I get to reply to...WTF?
If I ever find out that any of you guys had something to do with posting this thread, someone is going to get b**ch slapped all the way to Baghdad!
I can hear y'all...LML, TAF, RF, MartyO, Wags, BigDog, Slowpoke,Testu, Mad Man...Y'all in the wings here, giggling like Munchkins in OZ...Y'all set me up for this, I just know it. Well, I ain't buying it, not a word.
darebren...I think this would be a great addition to your MM, I say go fer it. You're gonna have to cut some nose plastic, but WTF, right? It's got a look to it, BOLD, could be a trend setter all its own, and it's your idea too...Go figure. Get on it and get back to us with some pics, eh? Beemer's photoshop is inspiring, but there's nothing like the real thing, baby...Yes?
Hey guys...Next time I got to pull the 21X12 duty, just fill my MM with balloons, okay?

See guys I told you he didn't sell his car and buy a Yugo and you all doubted me! I sure hope he hasn't read the that thread yet where RF suggested that he joined the traveling bag pipe corp.
Now you guys are all in big trouble.....go to your rooms now and no stopping at the garage on the way! Shoo, all of you run along now.
Sarge,
Be sure you check out RFs new "gas grill" in the famous (yet immediately closed) "Invisible in Texas" thread. Just a little something...O.K. maybe not little...you missed while you were gone.
Off topic...I know...but this thread sucked anyway.

darebren:
Do a search on Google using the term "push bumper" and you will receive a number of useful links in your search results. Find a local cop shop to do the install--I was quoted $145 (installation only) here in Los Angeles. And yes, unfortunately, they do need to cut through the facia to do the install (at least for the ones I've seen). One caveat--the Marauder's internal metal bumper must be IDENTICAL to the CrownVic's (not sure if it is) for the install to work. The cop shop wasn't sure. Please post here if anyone can verify that the bumpers are the same inside.

I'd have to check with Sarge to be sure, but I think if we posted that information here, we could be charged with aiding and abetting a crime.....

Actually, I started this months ago. All I wanted was a bracket that would bolt to the frame and reach under the facaia to hold the licence plate. I still haven't found or made one, and I still refuse to put serews thru the facaia. Thus I still have no front plate. Haven't been asked about it yet, just hope I don't run into anybody assigned to traffic duty having a bad day.

How about a "nerf" under the front facia. All the bump, no "aerodrag". BTW, GOT MY JACKET!!!!. finally sent the card, about a 2 week wait. It looks good.

I wish I didn't have a front license plate.
Some front plate holders seem to be factory installed, others dealer installed.

I'm off the push bar idea now anyway, thinking maybe I'll get a propane tank installed in the trunk so I could hook it up to the barbecue as i drive down the road. lunch breaks will never be the same soon! has anyone found a propane and grill kit for the marauder? let me know.

TAF, he must have had a look around BON and seen how well-received his idea was...
darebren, when you want to add the steelies, baby centre-caps, spotlight, and antenna farm, just ask anyone over there... they'll be happy to assist...SHERIFF is their installation specialist...
