Dude...Can't wait to help you out, K?
First...What car are you asking about?
Second...What mods do you have in place now?
Third...Do you want this HP increase full time? Or, just when you need it? Like Barry just asked, are you thinking 400+ at the crank, or, at the back wheels?
Help us out with giving you the right answers. eh?

1,100 dollars? I did not think it would be a direct swap. All in all
it must have cost him more then that. Prob. would have been cheaper
to have bought a S/C from one of our venders. Prob. your best option
as well DetroitMerc.

How about you head to the Junk yard and pick up a 04 cobra engine with the tranny for $1100 and then you will be even with your friend who did the swap the first time.

A Supercharger and an intake should do that.

You guys have no sense of humor...
Well, if you can fit about 8 tornado's in series, you might get close.

You've got to be carefull with those Tornados! I put two of them in my Escort and snapped the factory 9" rear-end and blew the cylinder heads off.:D

Go with the Motorcraft AXG678-8304-9 Muffler bearings and the Titanium Spark Plug gaskets......good for about 150 hp

Add super heavy duty headlight fluid for the other 50HP. My ex-girlfriend says that it works.

Page 52 in the Ford Engine Manual describes a 9 step process on how to adjust the Gafferated Slyrod, I hear its good for another 50 RWHP if you set it to full advance.
BTW, The Muffler bearings are a good idea, They need adjusting every 150 Revs.
Now see how informative we are!

Thanks!! I got the Wiper blade sharpener, the Left-handed Metric screwdriver and a set of cross-drilled brake lines coming!!!
They are back-ordered on the blinker fluid so Ill have to deal with my slow turn signal for a little while.
You da Man!

Make sure that when you do these modifications that you use the Metric/American Crescent wrench. Unfortunately, as of late, it is only available at a few mom and pop auto parts stores in NJ.

Hey! Don't listen to those wise guys...just do the same thing that I did:
Disconnect your Fratzit Valve. It costs nothing and will yeild a dyno verified 107 HP!
Caution!....As was previously mentioned: DO NOT combine this mod with the Tornado intake....and God forbid you go all out and put on Type 'R' stickers...all bets are Off!

Can't you just lube the stock muffler bearing? Of course you'll have to clean it first with a bucket of steam after you loosen the cover with a left handed monkey wrench......:D
