i'm looking to add pulleys, an elec water pump and a 4.10 on a 2000 crown vic. just wondering if it's something i can do in my driveway, and if not could someone give me a general idea of what labor costs would be to have all three done at once?

The pulleys may require you to have someone hold on to the Torque convertor bolt under the car so you can tighten the Crank Bolt, other then that, the pullies aren't a big deal. The electric water pump can be done in the driveway but I reccomend a gauge or light to show that the pump is on. That may take some more time consuming work.
As for the 4.10's That will be a big job that you are better off sending out somewhere that specializes in gear swaps. There are a few adjustments that have to be made so you don't have any noise or burn up the gears
IMO: If you send out to a speed shop, you may be looking at $500-$600 for the job. considering that its about a hour to do the pullies, 2 hours for the pump, and close to 3 hours for the gear swap.

i had a feeling it'd be that high, funds are kinda tight at the moment. if i could only do one, what should go first? i've already got an fipk and a tuner.

Of those three mods, gears will produce the most noticable effect. The other two are really more of tweaks that will result in faster RPM spinup.

Like was said, go with the gears, Probably the best bang for the buck. However, I did feel a nice improvement after the pulley install. Keep within your budget and ask around for the gear install, Maybe someone knows a guy in your area that does them on the side for cheap.
Make sure you get the fricton additive to mix with the gear oil or else you may run into issues with your rear clutches

I would do 355 or 373 on the CV and UDP and a Marauder air box and the later model zip tube we have this off off a 03 CV now along with SCT tuning call me any time we have it all in stock

^^^what Dennis said^^^
4.10s are NOT the ideal setup in a Crown Vic...generally 3.73s are about as high as you would want to go, and the difference between the 3.55s which you already have (if your car is a CVPI), and 3.73s isn't much. It's generally not worth the expense to go up only one step. If for some reason your car has 3.27s, then by all means go to 3.73s, just be aware that you'll lose a fair amount of fuel economy on the hgihway...

I had 3.73's and the MM intake setup with DR's tune. I drove it to NY and back WITH NO LOSS IN MPG... that is until I got a tank full of that ethanol crap they sell up there in the winter. Mind you I have a lot of other mods that affect my MPG.
I have since upgraded to 4.10's and have seen a slight decrease in MPG... nothing to make me wish I had 3.73's. I LOVE 4.10's and readily endorse them... make sure have at least a MMC driveshaft.
