Driver Seat problems

Well it seems my drivers seat problem (the trim at the side nearest the door, on the back of the backrest coming adrift) is not covered under the extended warranty (it excludes trim.....). It looks like the trim shoulb be held in place at the bottom of the side with a strap (which is now detached/loose)with a plastic piece at the end which I am guessing hooks round the internal structure of the backrest. Is there any way I can take the plastic section at the back of the backrest off so I can reattach the offending loose part, or would the airbag in there mean this was a dumb idea?

Yes, The cover just curls up under the seat rim and clips into place. You should be able to do a quick search and see how various owners have securing this piece. I believe there was even a seat diagram showing exactly the problem.

Thats funny, detailing mine today I noticed the same thing. Its not to bad on mine. Should I have the dealer try to fix it?
