I've been lurking for a year and joined today. I've found an 03 M/M with a rebuilt title(looks new) and low mileage (20K) for $10,000. What is your opinion and comments about a car with a rebuilt title.

Depends what was rebuilt? Does it track straight down the road? :P
Welcome!

welcome!
I am a bit wary of salvage titles. Mostly because I don't know exactly what happened to it. Did it burn? ..or did it get balled up then 'fixed'? I'd avoid both. Then there's the plain 'ol 'bad mojo' of it all.
There's an '03 in Houston that's going for around $15K with 60K miles on E-bay. Deals are out there.

Welcome aboard. I am quite leary about salvage titles.
What was the reason for the salvage title. ( acc., Flood, etc.)
If it's a flood vehicle I would stay away from it. As time goes on a flood car becomes an electrical nightmare as the wire harnesses and electronic devices corrode. JMO.

Car was wrinkled on both sides but does not appear that serious. No burn or water damage. The damage was done when the car was new. When I get the vin I'll run it and know for sure. I don't have a problem with rebuilt titles depending on the extent of damage. I have a 93 Crown Vic with a 01 Eng/Trans for sale if anyone is interested.

Welcome to the Machine.
Salvage title?
:hmmm: Did you get a carfax and oasis report? Howzabout pics of the car BEFORE it was repaired?

Welcome aboard. Enjoy the site. Feel free to PM me the VIN so I could run it through Ford's OASIS database. Most of the time, Ford's warranty is cancelled but there could be a uncancelled extended warranty there. The only problem with this is that every repair needs to be called in when you bring it in. This becomes a major headache to the service writer.

Welcome! Salvage title or not, 10K is a great start on a project car. I looked at a few of them just recently, but my "#3" had to be a daily driver, and I'm pleased with my find.
Have any plans yet?

When you get settled in, share some pics. I know I am curious about this bargain you found.
