Are there any FOMCO mechs here that are able to confirm our OEM driveshaft compataility with early Crown Vics for direct replacement?
How about 1988?

I don't think an '88 will work - different wheel base/body style. Maybe '92 & up? What year did they switch to AODE from AOD (and would that make a difference)?

Yoke splines are different on AOD and AOD-E trannies. Believe me, I've tried this when installing SouLRioT's old d/s into my 2nd 1992 GMLSHPP.

It's my understanding that 98 up police interceptors are bolt in. late 99 and early 2000 pi's had ammx drive shafts.

That's where my MMX came from.

The MMX police drive shafts are out of production, they were replaced with what is on our Marauders OEM.

I have an OEM drive shaft taking up space in my garage. If anybody is interested, drop me a line.
