Hello Sunshine State Marauders,

I'm a new member to the group and very excited about getting involved! So, I've volunteered to re-design the SSM Website and to help with graphics. Please use this thread to provide and discuss ideas for the site. What are your thoughts on the following?
Introduction: club description and news, photos of interest, clickable Florida map that will take you to a chapter page
Chapters: introduction (including coverage area), news, events, members, and contact
Events: club event information including date, time, location, description, and photos
Members: photo (car or person), screen name, basic ride description (e.g., 2004 DTR), contact, favorite moment/event
Store: a link to the store
Contact: club's and each chapter's contact information
Other: haven't decided whether or where to place these: SSM frapprThe main events section will be for SSM gatherings (e.g., the upcoming picnic), but can contain links to chapter events. Each chapter can be responsible for announcing and documenting their own events via their page. Events will ideally be documented with photos, so we can eliminate the need for a separate photo section, and listed in reverse chronological order (i.e., newest first).

The main members section will be in alphabetical order by screen name or in chronological order by join date (if this information is available). I would like to avoid ordering this section by chapter, as each chapter should be responsible for tracking their own members and since not all members will be associated with a chapter.

Once we gather enough input on the site, I will put together a prototype for everyone to review. Also, if anyone wants to help or wants to volunteer to maintain a chapter page, let me know.

Thanks for your help and suggestions!

NOTE: Already spoke to SouLRioT about the Website; all is good :)

There's some nice little cities over there. I'm sure some of the locals will help you to get adjusted. Best of luck in your new venture. Man I really am starting to fall for DTR's . . .

DTR wasn't my favorite until I saw it in person. Unfortunately, my paint isn't in the best condition.
