Tomorrow, the DTR will fire up and put on a show out of the Body
Shop. The body work and paint and bake are done, the heat exchanger/radiator is in and the coolant restored. The bumper boxes and all the crushables are replaced and the tech was installing the fogs in the new DTR bumper cover at 4:30 this afternoon. The headlight lights and Markers go on in the morning along with the fender badges a n d the ZACKSTER SUPREME GRILL goes in last. It has been an interesting experience Marauderless. Driving in total anonymity is different. I have found myself in the right hand lane on the highway at 5 under the limit. Parking in tight spots where I would never put the Marauder. Listening to the radio, totally oblivious to engine, exhaust or road noise. Totally ignored by EVERYONE on the road. No one asked my what the Taurus is because no one cares. It is criminal what has happened the the Auto industry in America. I drove a new Ford Focus SE for one day. A total POS. I am sure that Ford makes one good car, the Mustang GT. Are there any others? OOPPS, sorry. The Story Changes back to reality tomorrow. Dennis

Glad to hear your ride will be back in service. Be sure to check all the lights before you leave. It would suck if it got dark and they forgot to plug in something

Glad to hear its almost done.

Don't judge car companies by the models they sell to rental fleets. I had a rental Explorer to take the place my Wifes Explorer while it was in for some work. No comparison. It did a disservice to the Explorer brand. I also thought Ford was getting away form thes rental fleet business?

You're taking it better than me....I was without mine a couple times and was like a heroine addict in need of a fix. And that was just a couple days.

If it had to sit in a body shop or something for a week or two I'd probably be in a home drooling and eating mushy food.

Don't forget to check the horn. It took me two months to realize I did not have one after I installed my Trilogy. I had plugged in the connector, but it did not lock and it eventually came apart :o

At least it was a simple fix.
