Here's the list I've compiled so far from the thread. IF you'd like to be on this list PM me and/or post here. I'll keep it updated. All numbers are assumed to be on a dynojet style dyno. If you were done on a mustang dyno mention this because you're numbers will be a hair lower than dynojet figures. In order to be on the list you must currently OWN the car. Only Nitrous cars can be on both N/A and Power adder lists because they can be ran both N/A or on Nitrous at any time.

Top 10 Power adder class, (Nitrous, Turbo, Supercharged)
:burnout:

#1 Martyo: 597rwhp, 461ft-lbs, Supercharger
#2 Jerry Barnes: 535rwhp, ft-lbs? Supercharger + Nitrous
#3 Mikes Merc: 528.6rwhp, 577ft-lbs Supercharger + Nitrous
#4 MI2QWK4U: 512rwhp, 494ft-lbs Supercharger
#5 Zack: 492 rwhp, 457ft-lbs Supercharger
#6 MarauderTJA: 475rwhp 425ft-lbs, Supercharger
#7 G-man: 473.3rwhp 474.5ft-lbs, Supercharger
#8 Lidio: 472rwhp, ft-lbs? Supercharger + Nitrous
#9 TooManyFords: 471rwhp 417ft-lbs, Supercharger

Come on Barry, what are you trying to say? Anyone is open to post their numbers, dyno results or time sheets. What war are you refering to? It would be nice if you would lay off the insinuations, one line insults, and inferences you hurl my way. I could really care less if Mac shares his dyno sheets and time slips. The fact that a "few" people never seem to participate equally makes me care less. It isnt a contest to me. Do what you want to your Marauder, and enjoy it. Hard to enjoy it when you are continually looking to top someone else. My Marauder was one of the first that really pushed the car and motor HARD, right from the start. Since then people have gone hog wild, and seem hell bent on turning their Marauders into top fuel dragsters, not for me. I am done building my car, and I know that others more nuts than I will pass me up in performance, so be it. When I am done with things this spring, my car will comfortable be putting down 550 at the real wheels on stock motor. Thats it, good enough for me. This isnt my only high performance ride! Its time to spend some time and money on the Mustangs, which are much easier to make fast than the Merc.

Only Nitrous cars can be on both N/A and Power adder lists. Nitrous IS a power adder at sanctioned events, we have had this discussion before too.

504.9 RWHP / 475.5 RWTQ
Forged 4.6L engine
Vortech T Trim, 2.80 pulley @ 16 PSI
14 Oct. 05 @ US. 41 Dragaway.
60' = 1.816
330' = 5.127
1/8 mile ET = 7.866
1/8 mle speed = 89.99
1000' ET = 10.226
1/4 mile ET = 12.218
1/4 mile MPH = 113.02
Pirelli P-Zero Assymetrico street tires, 285/45-18, 20 PSI.
10 gallons of fuel, 50% 100 octane mix, no race gas tuning.

As you collect data, another interesting index is the MPH gain in the second 1/8th mile. Interesting stuff.

There should be more interesting stuff to collect after Sebring, are you coming?

Would it be more correct to call them Power Adder Class and Naturally Aspirated Class? A car with Nitrous can run without a shot, right? Is it naturally aspirated at that time?

I know I won't be on this list for long. I know of quite few people (Defyant for example) that have more power than me. I am not out for most power. I just want enough to beat most GTO's, Chrysler 300's and others. I do plan on getting a smaller pulley this year and that should put me comfortably over 410hp. That will do it for me.

Yes, thats a good point to make. Mike is going to build a stronger motor soon, but I dont feel the need, im not hitting mine with Nitrous on top of the blower. If anything, I am planning on dialing it up to at least 550 HP at the rear wheels, tuned conservatively it will be just fine. Since I am not planning on any long road trips, I am going to trade in my 3:73 gears for either 4:30 or 4:56 gears. That should help me launch better, cut my 60 ft time, and the extra few HP and Torque will help her overall run.

Lidio has always said that without at least 4:10s, my car will never run its best. I wonder what kind of time she will make with those mods. I dont plan on going with Nitrous, so I shouldnt beat Jerry, Marty, or Mike, but I should be able to take and hold the top spot for a supercharged Marauder on blower alone. Conservatively she should run 11.4-11.5 sec in the 1/4 mile.

First you want to tell me what someone else meant. Then you want to tell me what I meant. I really don't care much what anyone means to say, I'm just reading the posts the way they are posted. This keeps life simple.

Too much of this "what you meant" crap goes on already. It's not on my mind what folks mean, and they should spend less time wondering what I mean.

Believe me, I'm the last person to pick a fight, but some folks thrive on chaos and hate it when things are running smoothly. Some folks think themselves funny, cute with the wisecracks, but they come off like stupid jerks. Even others love being the martyr, and all I can say is get off the cross, I need the wood. This place is no better and no worse from my office environment, if folks would knock off the game playing, we might actually enjoy each other's company.

Harmony...What a concept.

The entries should indicate if the dyno results posted were obtained on 93 octane unleaded pump gas or on 'Race' gas...
A bunch of extra power can be extracted when you are running race gas.

When you are all done breaking down the list by various criteria, in an effort to compare apples to oranges, you end up with just about everyone in THEIR OWN catagory...:o

Fair enough. I only use 93 octane pump gas, but have been known to get less octane from the gas stations using the two tank/ blender method. Mine's a daily driver/ Duty car.

OK its updated as of today, thank you all for the PM's. :) Yes, it's updated as of today, and it's still wrong. I also noted your second thread on this (these) topic(s).

IMHO...Quit while you are ahead.

The zipper noise is deafening...

Wow, ... Marty, I would delete my post, that that might offend somebody or someone or something.

Oh, some would say it's OK to delete your own post, as I've done it a time or once, when I posted something outrageously stupid; and elected to delete/edit my own post.

It does tend to offend, though; when someone oversteps the bounds of decency and takes it upon themselves to delete other folks posts in an open forum.

Remember, folks: Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they're not out to get you.

I don't PM...Anyone.

It's not a "3 hour scan" of posts, it's just two pages now.

If you need emoticons to make your point, I missed that point.

What ever I posted is prolly deleted now anyway.

What ever...

Dave, Dave, Dave, you know that list is grossly inaccurate. :D

Besides, Jerry still owes me a case of Diet Mountain Dew, so his name should be off the list entirely! :P

A pictures is worth a thousand words, no?

Marty, your guy wore my race jacket for that run in Atlanta. Am I entitled to a couple of cans of that Diet Mountain Dew? Would like to place in my frig at the office.

Damm, just checked my schedule and I will be heading to St Louis that weekend. (BTW, I saw you make a run in the 10's that weekend even though it didn't count) I will be at Orlando for the MMFF Spring Break shootout the first weekend in March if you show up there. Good luck.

Allllllllllllrighty then, I have sent a PM to everyone on the list to check it, verify, and get back to me with any changes or if you'd like to be removed. (Some people like secrets) :)

If you are not on the list and would like to be PLEASE PM ME if you'd like to be added.

Thanks.

Edit: Can one of the mods rename the title to Top 10 HP/TQ since we have another fastest thread.

There are still some 500 hp cars not listed. Maybe they haven't been online to see it yet or maybe they're holding out the info.

Yeah, I know getting them on the list will knock me off, but for the sake of accuracy...

I've asked to removed, Brian, but thanks for the honorable mention. Sorry, my zipper got stuck, and I have to withdraw. Nonetheless, this thread has endured the test, I expect it to live long and prosperous now that everyone has relieved themselves.

Brian...You have already paid me one of the highest compliments I own, thanks for driving my MM and expressing your spontaneous opinion.

Carry on, gents.

Marty, your case of DMD was delivered to you at SSHS5 by myself and Tallboy, at the behest (always wanted to use that word :D ) of Mr. Barnes.

Jerry, through his own post-SSHS5 post lead me to believe that he would be sending me my case of DMD on his own behalf and that Donna was handling that. Indeed, he later posted that the case of DMD was stolen when his trailer was stolen. (As a side note, I think the thieves went to a lot of effort to steel my DMD by taking his trailer too :D).

Be that as it may, Jerry may win back the coveted DMD by coming to FFW - Atlanta, whereat I will put my car up against his for double or nothing on the DMD bet.

What say you Mr. Barnes? :P

OMG...I love all this courtroom banter..."what say you all" and "behest".

Court. The world's only real live stage.

I love this junk. Like war movies where you hear the radioman's cacophony in the background..."Alpha base, alpha base, this is live-or-die-now...I';m calling willy-peter here now, here now I mean NOW...Bring it in on me, I repeat..ON ME!"

Donchajustlove that touch.

Cop films get it too, with chases...
