Finally got around to taking pics of my Marauder Trunkliner. ;) I think it looks great and it a really nice touch for the car. Now whenever I throw something in the trunk, I let it hang open a couple minutes. :D

I've had my trunk liner installed since last summer and I haven't taken any pics.
Seems like I need to get busy.

I've noticed that when the car is parked on an incline with the nose higher than the trunk,
the added weight of the liner, won't allow the trunk lid to stay open.
On level ground and when the trunk is higher, it isn't a problem.

I've searched for a tool that will adjust the torsion bars on the trunk hinges,
and I have not been able to find anything.
There has to be something available. How do they set them on the line ???

There have been a few suggestions, using a serpentine belt, a socket and a breaker bar,
but there should be a solid bar with a socket like piece on the end
that slips over the end of the torsion bar to adjust it safely.

Have any of you seen this or needed it ?

I have not had the problem that you mention and the trunk will stay open any time. However, I do not have any added weight like the spoiler. That alone will make the difference.

Gordon B has the trunkliner and the spoiler and he took up some tension on the trunk spring so that it stays open. He pointed out the tension "notches" in the spring retainer to me at our last meet. He didn't mention any special tools or difficulty in making the adjustment that I can recall.

If this is a problem for you, suggest that you PM to GordonB. :D
