A member from crownvic.net took that pic when they went to STAP in '02. I also have a video tap one of the member filmed while there. One of the reps brought one out and had a "little fun" with it. In the background, you could see more Marauders on car carriers waiting to be delivered.

Glad you guys enjoyed the pic. And yes, that is a protective wrap around the tailpipes. Looks like cardboard or something.

And nothing about the used MM yet. I got kind of sick this weekend from being in the cooler at work and caught a slight cold. If it's still there this weekend, I am going to look at it.

You know, it could very well be somewhere in that pic. They went to STAP from June 13-16, 2002. I am not sure what day that was taken (my guess on the 13th or 14th.) I don't know how long they stay there until they get shipped, so if it's more than one day's work of cars, your's could be in there. Pretty cool, huh?

Very cool picture! It's kind of depressing though, knowing we're not going to have a chance to take another one like that. Maybe, after the trouncing Ford took by the Charger police package at the MSP trials, they will consider putting a little 'juice' under the hood as an option once again!

I don't think these are '03 models, probably '04's. Granted, it's a sea of black, which suggests they are 300A early production, but look over at the Grand Marquis off to the left. There are a couple of two tone white over goldish color that came out on the '04 models, iirc. Duncan?

I always got the impression that Marauders were mixed in with GM's and CV's, but this makes it seem that they did a run of Marauders at one batch. Maybe they just parked them together.
