Dang!!!

I thought there were only TWO.....BMD0 and MAV2??

Another thing that came into play for my 2004 "MAV2" was the "Calibration Code"....Mine is "RZASABS"??

When I loaded the Diablo tune for my blower it WOULD NOT WORK!!!:argue: It seems in the tuning process a year or so ago my "Stock" tune was lost and an SCT "Stock Type" tune was substituted leaving "Gremlins" that would not allow the Diablo tune to work!!!:mad2:

We thought about going to the dealer and having him re-flash my EEC but if it was with a different Cal. Code we would be dead since Diablo has nothing for the next generation Cal. Code and nobody could tell me what it was??? SCAREY!!!

Dave at Injected Racing simply started with a "STOCK MAV2" Ford tune and little by little created the GREAT tune I currently have....THANKS DAVE!!!!

With all of those different catch codes it's a wonder any of this works...PERIOD!!!:shake:

Do you suppose that Ford does this as a deterrent for custom tuning or are all these changes legitimate??:o

Watch yourself with this 411, some of those catch codes did not go into production. For the '03 300A, it's BMDO. The FDH1 you see listed failed right off the delivery truck and got flashed over with BMDO. For the 300B, it's CRD0, or, CRD1, and for the '04 it's MAV2.

FDH2 applies to very early 300As (probably before 615000).
BMDO applies to the other 300As and predecontented 300Bs.
CRD0 applies to early to mid 300Bs (probably up to 680000).
CRD1 applies to the rest of the 300Bs

Is it possible that the other codes could apply to export vehicles?

Is it possible that the other codes could apply to export vehicles? Prolly...The 411 I've been collecting has been for North American builds.
