Ok I bought a compucar wet kit system for my marauder from a good freind of mine, he ran it on his 03 cobra for a few months. The question I have is what setup do you guys have. Are you running a window switch? Any advise you have on the install? I plan on running a 90 shot, see a problem with this?

I've been running this system for two years. Carfixer did the install, I've got the switch hidden to the left of our volt, and oil gauges, under the plastic. We installed two Led lights on the A-Pillar, one green showing the system is armed, and one red showing the Nitrous is flowing on WOT..I do have 3 different tunes to retard the timing from Lidio, depending on the jets I'm running. You shouldn't have any trouble with the 90 shot. Only advise would be to run 100 octane at the track..

You shouldn't need a window switch. You can just stall up the car and hit the nitrous right outa the hole with no problems.
Take your time on the install. I've seen way to many half ass installs. Take the time to shrink wrap/soilder your connections. The last thing you want is a wire coming off the fuel siloniod (I can never spell that word right) and running straight nitrous into the engine! Also make sure you install the bottle correctly by using bolts, I've seen alot of people just use metal screws.
I don't know how easy it is to pull the plugs on these cars but I always tuned my nitrous by running a full 1/4 mile then cutting the car off. Coasting to a stop, removing the plugs and checked them to see if it was lean or rich. If you REALLY want to keep things in check you can get a wideband. I just installed an AEM in my stang and I love it.
Thats the most help I can be. These cars are totally different animals than what I'm used to running nitrous on.

Thanks for the info guys, As far as the fuel I plan on runnning race gas everytime the car is on the bottle.Hell sice I turned it into a Weekend tou it always has about 5 gal of race gas mixed with 91. Hey bootlegger, any way you can post some pics of your install? I would like to see how you mounted everything.

So you think that as long as I run some race gas when on the bottle I shouldnt have to have my chip reflashed for the nitrous?

You'll definatly need a reflash if your not running the stock program. Its to much timing and you'll go BOOM.

^^^thats an understatement. why did you use a wet system over a dry? You do need a window switch to activate nitrous flow for you though , i wouldnt go the hollywood route of flip of a switch, too many variables to consider and a good way to damage driveline components. If you didnt know that you should be using 100-104 octane with retard ignition timing on Nitrous specific plugs, you might want to do some more research before going any further. Also, your nozzle sizes ( HP shot ) have to correlate to ignition timing and should be in the instructions, this means you need different tunes for different hp settings.

I think you should have that done also. Its just alot easier with the tuner to plug and play whatever program you wish to run..

I dont have the kit installed on the car yet, I got this kit off of my buddy's 03 coabra, for the price I go it for it would have been hard to pass up. I just wanted to ask a few questions and gather as much info as possible before moving ahead. I am going to go ahead and go with a window switch and alreadyhave things setup to get my chip reflashed. As far as HP settings 90 is as far as I am willing to go. That will be more than enough to satisfy me till I can get a trilogy setup.

75 is good for occasional use and i thought I wouldnt pass it until i used it. 125 is a trip, but i would only use that at the track once in a long while. Good luck with your install and dont forget, solder your connections.

No need for a window switch, just use a WOT switch. :)
