Someone just hit the rear bumper of a MM I was ready to purchase today!
The bumber cover is torn.

He is offering to deduct the cost of repair.

About how much money are we talking.

Too much for you to pay, can vary--depending on damage--from 500 to 1500--------get him to repair it --tell him thats the deal if he wants to sell it.......and without that added to the cost ........

IIRC, the front facia on mine (without paint) was ~1,400.00.

Have 'em fix it.

Good luck!

Mike.

Have them replace the rear bumper.

I had someone sc***** the rear corner down to primer. Had to paint the whole bumper cover. Cost was $609., with two appraisals, both the same price. They said if it was torn, they would not fix it. They would replace it.

I just got in a fender bender in my MM and the rear bumper was torn up.As I recall its going to be around $1,600 to have it fixed. The bumper has to come from the factory, something to do with copyright issues. Get the dealer to fix it. It will be much easier that way.

We have a place here in Las Vegas called "Bumper Medic" ........they use some kind of epoxy/filller paint match system.

Our Marauder had two 3" holes in the bumper from a Ford Super Duty wanting to take a closer look (tow hooks)..........$400 later you cannot tell there was damage (got $1200 from the guys Ins. company to replace)

Laid down my ZX12.......$100 later (hooked me up because I was a previous customer:) ) the lower fairing looked like new!!! ....New lower from Kawasaki is $400.

I don't know if they're national or if there is a system like this in your town....but they are magicians.
