Depends on what you're doing. If you're gonna supercharge ala Trilogy, I've heard good things about the single blade models. If you're staying NA, then there's not a lot of improvement with a TB straight swap. To get any real improvement you'd need to machine the intake to accept a larger diameter, extrude/hone, etc, etc. And if you're going to that you might as well do the mod to accept the single blade. That said, I straight swapped for a 63mm BBK to get the crisper throttle response (faster tip in than the OEM plastic linkage). Note that this was on top of a bunch of other mods that DID improve performance. TB was more of a minor tweak w/bling.

Thanks for the info! I made a list of to-do's This is one of them. I know it won't be anything massive. So the BBK one its a straight swap huh? Got a part number for which one it is?

If you search on Summits site you find BBK-1711 which is the throttle body by itself and you find part number BBK-17110 whish is the throttlebody witht eh tps, bolts, gaskets, etc included. All for the same price.

BruteForce, what did you have to do to get this to fit...? Just flip it over or was there something else????

Nothing it bolts right up don't have to flip it or nothing. I have the 65mm twin bore BBK 2001 Cobra. Done it for the same reason instant throttle response. But I also bought an Accufab single blade for a Lightning Now you will have to do a throttle linkage swap for that one as they are not the same don't know about the Cobra Accufabs???

BBK-1711 was the part number off my order receipt. It had everything in the box. Bolts right up.

Anyone know what size our factories are? I didnt search so I appoligize if it is easily found.....

So I guess the only mods for the 62mm or 65mm would be a little blending at the inlet to the upper intake manifold if you wanted to eliminate any extra metal left from the smaller opening.

I want something a little larger and definitely better looking. At a minimum I I need to pull my factory tb off and clean it really well. Along with the upper manifold. It looks like crap.

OEM is twin 57mm. Manifold openings are closer to 59-60mm.
