Hey, this is a special week. Anyone know why? We got two potentially very big SSM events. Well Friday, first off, Lidio is comming down to the Tower Shops to hang out with our club and talk about his wonderful tunes and even tune some of our member's cars. The Following day Saturday, we should all go out to Dolphin Stadium to enjoy the USHRA Monster Jam Monster truck show at Dolphins Stadium!

Would be great if all of us could bring the kids and all and make it. Well not me of course, I'm not even married yet, but you got the idea!

We saw this event in Dallas and it was incredible! The trucks were cool and loud (wear earplugs) and the smell of nitro hung heavy in the air. ! If you get a chance to go you won't regret it.:banana2:

Not really a flame ..... just thinking out loud.

I would just prefer to see something much less worthy get crushed, just for the sake of getting crushed.

Perhaps every new Zephyr that comes off the assembly line that insults the Lincoln name - what it once was & stood for, would be far more appropriate IMHO - lol.

I went to something like this years ago at the Spectrum in Philadelphia(1989 ish ?????).

Oh, now I see what you were getting at. You don't like seeing the cars crushed. To be fair, I think they crush a lot of 80's Accords and Camry's too. I thought you were making fun of my sig pic, my bad.

Steven, get a grip. Your pic isn't a Lincoln! No one would make fun of your sig pic, man. Nice ride. Ditch the front plate holder or put a kwool plate on tho. Dennis:beer:

I have a front plate already. That picture is just old. Seriously doesn't anyone want to go on Saturday? Come on! Anyone? All I'm hearing are whispers!

*edit

Doesn't anyone want to go? It's really not that loud at all. If it were at the Office Depot Stadium up in Sawgrass by the Sawgrass Mills Mall, then it would be painfully loud because it is indoors. I went to a Monster Jam there. However, Dolphin Stadium is outdoors so it won't be too loud. Trust me, it's nothing to be frightened over! It's actually a lot of fun and if you love drag racing, hot rods, or have any remote amount of testosterone left in your system you will come and enjoy it!

Normally I wouldn't post until someone else has posted but doesn't anyone want to go? All I hear are crickets! Come on, someone come, please? Anyone, isn't there anyone here that would look to see some loud, car crushing, Monster Jam action? They are going to have the car eating dinosaur there! It is always a really cool sight to see!

I feel your passion and hate to nitpick HOWEVER, The Dragonator is not simply some sort of car eating dinosaur- It's a fire-breating dragon than can reduce a mid-70's size Caddy into a block of crushed metal 2' x 4' x 6'. It is an amazing sight and well worth the price of admission on his own. If these yahoos don't want to go- let them miss out- you've done your duty.:)
