chip, plugs, therm and 4.10's are all in now. The car does ride alot better, seems to respond quicker and all around has a better feel to it. It's not lightning quick by any means though, some people say they lay a patch 15 feet long and chirp it in second on WOT, but mine doesn't. It barely spins a tire from a dead stop without the brake. Maybe on asphalt it would, but not cement. Too bad the car needed these things, should have come with the 4.10's and better shift points from the factory.

How many miles on your motor?

Good question Logan...maybe his MM hasn't come alive yet. Mine is at 5500 miles now and has changed considerably.
I am ready for gears soon, soon as I get home!

darbren, I believe you have a new car. Keep in mind, it takes some time for the car to break in and wake up. And, if your car doesn't, you can always add that blower you fooled us with.....

darebren (and others with 4.10s installed):
I've put about 600 miles on mine since installing the 4.10s. Today while having the oil changed I looked at the underside of the car and noticed some tranny fluid on the tranny seal and driveshaft yoke. From what I've read, that is probably an indication that drivetrain vibration is a problem and I need to go to the better-balanced MMX shaft from Dennis. I don't notice any obvious vibrations while driving, but better to be safe than sorry.

Yes, darebren, is your car broken in? Without the 4.10s I can get a little wheel...

I have only 700 miles on it (5 tanks of gas! lead foot). maybe needs some time.

Darebren...these DOHC 4.6's like about 3500 to 5000 miles to get run in. Yours will loosen up with time and miles.

ORODSKI, the part number for the 4:10 gears is M-4209-G410.
Check with Dennis Reinhart for a price. His price may be better than Ford's

Cruz, I had it done at Kenny Brown's shop. They are all very good people, compared with some of the other stuff they do there, this was as hard as screwing in a light bulb for them, but I wanted to visit and see what they do there. They did the thermo too.
