The rear Map/dome lamps have quit working in my marauder. Does anyone know what the easiest way of getting to the bulbs is? The clear plastic lenses dont seem to want to budge at all and Im not going to try to get in another way unless i know that I wont damage anything and It will actually work. :help:

Oh, they do pop out... trust me, they do. My MM#2 proved to me that they can even pop out all by themselves. :P

I can't remember if the whole assembly popped out, or just the swivels, or the lens. I have pictures of this, be careful if you are planning on putting different color bulbs in. Went that route... :shake:

Okay cool ill just keep trying. Im definately gonna stick with the OEM bulbs, the color thing i think is a bit ricerish.

Hopefully you've ditched MM#1 by now. You don't want MM#2 being taught any more tricks like that.

The lens pops off and the bulb is one of the VW variety.....Looks like an old fuse!!:confused: Just spin them around a few times in the holders and I'll bet they will work.....Don't ask me how I know!!!:argue:

MM#1 is still in my driveway. MM#2 has it's "quirks". Time will tell...
