:D We had a great meeting and some lunch at Sonny's B-B-Q. (The Bradenton Track was closed due to the weather:mad2: . Damm..Oh well, this Friday at Moroso.) For a last minute put-it-together meet for 13 people it worked out great.

Those in attendance:

Bootlegger, Smokie (+Maryas), King & Queen Fubar, Lou, JMan, SSPMustang (& Cathy) , Marauderboi, Bradical, DJV5150 and myself. 8 Marauders and JMans CV.

All were in agreement with the following in regards to the questions asked by Cobra25 to present at the picnic on the 19th:

1. No Board of Directors or elections. Leave it like it is. All liked the regional directors idea to present each regions ideas to the State membership.

2. One membership, all can join.

3. No voting issues on club issues (see#2)

4. No dues (we all can donate for group events - like for the picnic).

5. YES for an annual State Meet - in a different location each year.

6. MV IV - A BIG YES -:cool5: We talked about a November 9-11, 2006 time frame. We will research an Old Towne Cruise night , afternoon/evening of Drag Racing at the Orlando track, group banquet, group hotel close to the attractions and more. Should have more details and info for the picnic.

I would like to personallty thank everyone for showing up. It was good to meet everyone again as well as some new people I didn't have the opportunity to meet. Some great ideas were presented with everyone there. Again thanks and I'll see you all at the Marauder CONVOY MEET 8:30-8:45 AM (Exit 123, Corkscrew Rd Exit @Hess Station) on February 19th to the Picnic. We head over to the east coast at 9 AM.

Oh Yeah, Mike (SSPMustang) had my car go a "little sideways" on a test ride after lunch (roads were a bit slick). Did make for some fun, huh Mike;) . Had a big :D after feeling some boost:P . Stuck the needle deep in his arm.:bows:

Tom:
Sorry I couldn't make it, but I can speak for the Northern FL SSM folks that we are in agreement on all your points.
Don't know if any of us are going to make it to the picnic, (I know I can't),but if the above is enacted we'll have a stronger group. We especially like the idea of moving the meets around every year.

Mayra and I had a great time, well worth the drive. Pretty good showing considering the weather was really bad. It was pleasure to meet new friends, Brad, Mike & Kathy :D and hang out with old friends.

As Tom already stated we are serious about hosting MV-4 in Florida and work is underway to make it a reality. I am really looking forward to the picnic the 19th.:D

I'm willing to throw down a couple c-notes he's still grinning! Any takers? Huh? We should call that a SMG . . .

We had a great meeting especially as impromptu as it was (We organized it this morning around 7am when it was an obvious wash out!). Our four car caravan arrived just before 10am followed closely by Smokie, MarauderTJA, and "The Fubars" (Should be a reality TV show name.). We changed our destination in-situ. But a great time was had by all, I think.

We had a great discussion with Tom's patent leadership at the helm. We also got to meet new members Kathy (And her husband SSPMustang), and Bradical. Both are from Pinellas County. I also got to meet Smokie's wife Mayra which was a real treat. Dennis (Hotrauder) had mentioned how beautiful she was in the past, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. It doesn't hurt to hear and see THREE Supercharged Marauders (TJA, King Fubar, Smokie)either. If the damned weather would have just cleared 24 hours sooner!

The one suggestion I forgot to spit out - I think we should do meets like that at the race track monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly or "D", All the above!

Thanks Everybody for being so game!

Jake, Hotrauder told you that Mayra is a sweetheart and that King Fubar is beautiful! I always tell the truth. I am really pleased that the meeting went so well and that everyone had a good time. This is a great start for the long awaited WEST COAST miscreants Marauder monthly meet. Did you decide which of the available weekends we want to meet? Sorry you guys didn't get to run but glad that the itch is there for a run in the near future so that I can run, too. The decisions reached are good to go with me if you are counting heads and I urge that we stay loose and flexible enough to keep it fun for everyone, always. It is great that the new members showed up on a really crummy day, bodes well for nice times! J man you are correct Mayra is beautiful and she is even nicer that she looks. Javier I am not to sure about!:D See everyone else at exit 123 at 8:45 to convoy to the picy nicky. Jake I will see you when you are ready for your drive! Dennis:beer:

Thanks again Tom, that was an awesome test ride!!
Very nice to meet everyone, and hope to hook up with you guys at the picnic in a couple weeks!
Here's a pic from today, as you can see, the weather was a bit off but it didn't stop anyone from having fun (especially me!)

Hey, did you make that nice silver Crown Vic Sport park away from everybody else, or is that just me...

Yep a great time for all. Mel, tires will be fine. Jake, I don't know about the "patent" thing. Mike, you should have seen your face when you first nailed it and went a "little" sideways. Now that was worth a $10K picture. Dennis, it is Queen Fubar not King Fubar, please.....Jim, that silver CV can park with us anytime. Like the rear wing, just like mine. David, I think you will be all set with my son-in-laws nitrous set up for your car.

Looking forward to seeing everyone for the convoy over to the picnic. Chow.

Even though the weather was poor, the meet was a lot of fun. I enjoyed meeting all of you, seeing your great cars and especially my first ride in a blown Marauder. Of course that has now ruined NA for me... Guess I need to start saving up for the blower. (If anyone can provide tips on how to sell this to my wife, please advise. She's smart enough that "it will improve gas mileage" won't work.)

I'm looking forward to a lot more fun in the future.

We had a good time, good eats and meeting the new people was fun. Sorry I corrupted you Brad but someone had to do it. Selling it to my wife was easy, she kept bugging me to get one. I buy a Marauder and she becomes a car nut...go figure.

Tell her she'll be able to get to the mall faster.....

Sorry to have missed meeting and racing with you guys--was so looking forward to it--so much in fact ----I washed and waxed my MM on Friday----I was staying at my brothers in Punta Gorda---was gonna ride up and back same day---oh well--That rain was something-----I called Tom Friday evening and told him hope to show but not sure-It was un-real in Punta Sat. morn--though it was a mini-hurrancane--we were scrambling to tied down doors on the back house------ Glad you were able to have a meet anyway--I now how much fun they are as well-----guess I will have to wait till another time to see what my MM will do--and I was hoping to show you all the new gas pedal--BTW--It did very well down and back --I am currently back home in NC- I was not able to get on my sister-in-laws computer due to the storm and wind----oh well--Ms M and I hope to meet you folks another day--have fun ---Tom
