just wondering if anyone out there is running 4.30's or lower (numerically higher) ratio. if so, what's the 70mph cruising rpm and what was your reaction to the car's launch/dead stop to WOT behavior? top end performance isn't much of a priority for me, i'm really just looking for a boost in the 0-80 mph range. anyway, i'm leaning toward 4.30's over 4.10's so any info would be a big help. thx

Go for it, I thought a 4.30 gear would be a perfect match.

Call Dennis if you are looking for the parts. He has some experience with the 4.30's (he just set up a car with them). Be sure you are callling to buy, not just for free advice......

I like 3.73's better as it gives better acceleration without killing your already low MPG. Know anyone that has a set for the cruiser.

No, on the street 'm running 3.50 gears, my 1 and only time at the strip we threw in 4.56's.

merc, what kind of times did you run with the 4.56's? do you think they were significantly better than people running 4.10's with other mods equal? also, do you remember at what rpm you ended the quarter mile (assuming you ended in third gear)

Well, your wrong about 3:73, it was a waist of money to go with that, IMHOP I would go 4:10 or 4:30 I just did 4:30's on Keith's car and it is awesome, 4;10's have no depreciable drop in gas mileage just ask the members here. And the car is totaly different

I would add my 2 cents here, but I spent them on Dennis's mods. He is right on the money (money which was well spent)!

So far Dennis has not had me spend money on something that didn't push my car toward the awesome driving experience that it is today. He is the guy in the know. Take his advance and run with it.

Need I say more?

I have 4:10s and some other stuff, but my last road trip produced 21 MPG, and much of the drive time was cruising 75-90 MPH.

notacop, my Marauder's a 63 with a 406 now 434 not an 03.
1/4 time was 12.03 @ 113mph.
