Just wondering what peoples outcomes and happiness is with the different types of programmers on the Market. I need tire size changing for the Police winter rims i use (traction control nightmare). The car is stock right now and not going to get blown anytime soon.Xcaliber2 seems like the best choise so far but Superchip, Diablo are also out there.....Just questions on performance and upgradeablity (not a word haha).Thanx

Your two biggest choices for the Marauder are Superchips Xcal2 and Diablosport Predator. I personally have the SCT9100 and love it. Makes the Marauder a new beast. Makes ya wonder why Ford never did this in the first place. I can change what I need via the Xtreme software but I'm happy with way it is now.

Are you running the same stagger on your winter tires as summer? I have 215/65/16 front, 225/70/16 rear. No probs at all with the TC or ABS.

I just got the sct Excal 2 SF. I suggest you read up on that before makeing your choice. I love mine. It works on alot of cars too. plus if you ever decide on a supercharger you can always convert the 9415 Sf to the 9400 excal 2. But once you change the programing theres no going back to the sf. You can adjust a number of things in the car (instead of computer). Go to http://www.blueovalchips.com/sf.php

I got an xcal2 from Reinhart a while back. Love it. Kick myself in the tender parts every day for not doing it sooner. After loading the tune, the Marauder drives much more "sporty", very similar to our stock 2000 Mustang GT. Takes care of constant up/down shifting at low speeds among other things. Definitely adds some more power.

I don't care whose tune you purchase, just get one from one of our supporting vendors. They are expert at maximizing your Marauder's inherent assets.

Yes, I agree about the XCal...I have been looking at it since coming back from Reinharts with RP1...I have the LiveLink datalogger in my laptop and am going through that slowly. ANYBODY who can give me their input on what to monitor in the LiveLink, PM me...PLEASE ! I am at a loss with this "tuner" car now...guidance and suggestions and inputs greatly appreciated...

Thanx for the help everyone.Sounds like Xcal2 is getting close to the choice.May call Reinhart in the Week for more info about it.
Winter rims aren't staggered correctly 225/60r16 all around hence the tire change option required :P.
Thanx again.I let you know what the outcome is.

Not sure you can correct that problem with a tuner, DR will know.

Lidio and Myself still carry the Xcal1. If you're not going to go crazy with mods and need data logging, theres no reason to spend the extra money for the LCD Display.

Welcome! What ^^ said (What's up Wes?). I bought the Xcal1 from Alternative Auto. If you don't need to change any settings the Xcal1 is ideal 'cause all you do is reflash the computer. Plug n Play. Do you really get snow in Surrey?? I thought it was just rain.:poke: :D

Hey Mike, Just thinking about you today. LOL.

BTW, I just fouind out SCT is discontinuing the Xcal 1, but the new version of the XCal2 relase 3 I think, is a lot more reliable than the previous ones.
