No drivers side splash guard?

I was changing out my POS H1 5000K bulbs I got off ebay because one burnt out. I decided to go from the wheel well and not jack up the car. Well the drivers side I can turn the wheels and reach right in to change the bulb. The passanger side has a splash guard blocking such a thing. I still had to go from under the car.

Is my car missing the drivers side splash guard?

Nope, one of Ford's idiosyncracies. My F-150 is like that except reversed. One on drivers not on passenger.

I've noticed that w/ my 04 too. So... are we saying it's supposed to be there or not?

It's NOT supposed to be there...no one has been able to explain WHY, but every Marauder is missing the driver's side...

Last year I heard a noise from up there like I ran over a plastic pop bottle. When I looked, :eek: oh no the fender well guard is missing on the drivers side. Took it to the dealer and they were amazed it had fallen out. They ordered a new one. Problem is it doesn't exist... They were more :o than I was...

I'm very late to this discussion, but I wished I had searched this forum last night, instead of spending way too many hours online trying to locate the part number for a driver's side splash guard that I thought might have fallen out, when it doesn't exist! :o
