I'm requesting any and all videos that anyone has of a Trilogy going down the track, or even just running, preferably high resolution atleast 640x480.

Same goes for pictures, anything you have, post it or e-mail it to Rider90@hotmail.com. If the video is too large to send, let me know, I'll give you a different address.

I'm working on a small project that some of you Trilogy owners might enjoy ;)

TRILOGY TEASER VIDEO RELEASED

Thanks to everyone that has gone out of their way to send me some kick azz material in the mail. Bigslim, MikesMerc, and BillyGMan. Looking forward to adding it to the video! For most of you I browsed the Galleries and found what I found, and Breadfan you'll be in the next revision.

Upon recieving permission from Jerry this morning, as I sent him the video requesting if I may post it, I reworked the music and slowed it down to keep the pace. I'm taking in all ideas and opinions so check out the teaser and let me know what you think. Originally the music was by The Prodigy, I stepped it down to Moby. You may remember this song from the opening credits of the newer Gone in 60 Seconds. I've checked out, specifically, over two dozen songs to see if they fit in. I've come down to only a few and I'm not done searching. This may be the song that gets used. Until I add more video footage, the general movie pace is going to be slower and less adrenaline building. Hope you like it...

Jason, that's some nice work there. The song was a bit too mellow for me though. Are those other songs you had in mind any louder, or faster? I really like that touch of colored lights on the S/Cer in the beginning. Real nice!!! I just sent you a vid w/out music, but the footage I sent you might not be of high enough quality since it was done with a digital camera (15 FPS) instead of a camcorder (29 FPS).

But I might be able to send you some other footage that is not only better than what I just sent to you, but it also was done with a camcorder. I have some video building software that someone gave to me that I might be able to use to remove the music from. I'll try it and let you know.;) It also happens to be in MPEG-2 format, and I don't know if that might be a problem or not.

Mine is 4 minutes long, and 88 mb, and they hacked it up into 4 sections, with the audio and video waaaay out of sync, and the video having much poorer quality than the original does. I think that Jason would be better off asking Mike to host it on the Motor city Marauders site. If Mike would have any trouble fitting more stuff on there, then he can just remove my vid since it's been on there so long.

If you have the DVD disc, Super DVD Ripper is a good program to convert the dvd to .avi I believe. I haven't used it in a long time so it could be .mpeg but I think it's .avi

One song that I considered using in the past is callled "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor". I don't know what group it's by, but there's a military/war video that goes with it that was popular right after 9/11 until the mainstream media banned it from being aired simply because it has pics of Bin Laden and his thugs in it, and suggests that our military waste them (as if that would be wrong). The tough thing about that song is, that if you were ever going to use it for a burnout or racing video, then there has to be a lot of high speed intense action in the vid since that song has a lot of fast paced tempo and energy in it.

That song is by Drowning Pool. I've already considered it, IMHO that song would be good for 100% high revving burnouts, and not so great for the slideshow portion. Each song as a few pictures here and there. Good suggestion though.

WOW!!!! I just want to say that Jason's vid is absolutely the BEST overall Marauder video that I've ever had the pleasure of watching! And watching it was just that... a PLEASURE. Fantastic work Jason!!!:2thumbs: That's very well put together. I think it was a very good touch adding the board names of the Marauder owners who supplied underhood pics of their cars, while at the same time leaving it a mystery to outsiders, exactly who it was doing all the burnouts. I really like that, because I think it would've been a bit tacky having everyone's username in the foreground during each of the burnout scenes. So I'm glad that you've left them out.
