I've gotten a few notes from friends asking about my Avatar, so, here's the scoop.

Thank you to the Bunny Lady for resizing a pic of our National Member lapel pin for use as an avatar. They came out nice, one with a white background, the other with black. Though I created the design, IMHO, it belongs to all of us, so, if you want to download your own copy of the avatar, have at it here...

I must ask Mac, why the avatar all of a sudden? I remember in an old,very old post you said something about not wanting to use an avatar. Just curious.

Well ....I like it better than the one of Mac wearing the dress.

I had borrowed it from Mustangmods.com but never save it to my hard drive. I decided to change it one day and found out that it was no longer on mustang mods. Oh Well. I've found it all over the net but not in the alloted realms of MM.net. Guess it's time to go find it and do some editing.
I wondered whatever happened to him .....that was the coolest.

I must ask Mac, why the avatar all of a sudden? I remember in an old, very old post you said something about not wanting to use an avatar. Just curious. I was preparing to answer you, DJ, until I read your last post. Having a touch of fun here? "Must"? Are you still Superbowling?

Having enjoyed your company here in Chicago, DJ, I am disappointed that you are asking about something that took place before you were a member here. BTW, I used all the search functions at my disposal to locate the "very old thread" you mention, and I cannot find it.

This is consistent with me not remembering any comment over it. It was an avatar made for me by /Steve, and it is very special to me, my two great loves, my kilt and my Marauder. (Again, thank you, /Steve) But, when it became a point of riducule, I removed it without commentary. If you can, DJ, please point me in the right direction? Where did I post a comment on this?

Meanwhile...Yes, I have had a number of different avatars (and sigs), over the years, but so have most of us. So what. What's the point here?

Listen up y'all...My new avatar isn't a "thing" open for your debates. Y'all want to start some *****, well get busy. OTOH, seems y'all already have. But, for the life of me, I cannot figure out why y'all have to make cheap shots out of everything.

Will you all please put me on ignore, and let me go about my way?

What I choose as my avatar is my business as long as it is not obscene. I need not explain my decisions. When I look at what others have, obviously, no one has to explain themselves, so, why me?

I like the look of the National Member pin, and I got some requests by e-mail for copies. Since then, Mary has been kind enough to resize my graphics, and match backgrounds to MM paints for the beneft of all members at large. The avatar belongs to all of us, use it as you feel fit. Any more meaning that this, is just another attempt to create chaos when there has been peace. Goodness...Glad I didn't select the National Member window crystal, or, our Xmas tree ornament. I would have heard from the "seperation of church and state" folks too...

Wow...what did I miss...I just got as far as Civil War.....way to deep for me.
