Glowing Marauder....

Well my roommate loves my car...way to much lol. Well he was saying how he wanted to let people know what a marauder is when they see me at night, his idea was instead of inserts on the rear 'Marauder' area to cut out the marauder and have a light behind it glowing outwords. The more i think about it the more i like the sound of it, driving at night and to pull up to see a badgeless marauder with it showing its name proud with a red glow. I might just be over thinking but maybe im giving someone an idea.

Sort of like the Gator Glass hood scoop for the Marauder. :D For a price, I am sure they could work on your rear fascia.

I had that idea a good 2 yrs ago but couldn't get anyone to do the job. The idea was to cut out the letters and place a long red lens behind, then connect light to go on with night lights and brake lights. Problem is, if you notice, if you cut out the inserts, the only letters you'll be able to view is the M,U,E the rest will be unreadable.

maybe so, but unless you are selling your old bumper for retail price... you are paying 1K for a 2 or 3 hundred dollar mod... yeah that makes sense

LOL LOL LOL They want 1850 for the hood thats non operational. They will supply you with a used hood if you cant send your own. Lets see $150 for fake scoops another $200 for body work and paint and about $50 for thin sheet of plexiglass and led lights to make it glow. How does this add up to $1850?

Wow Im liking the MARAUDER rear glowing inserts however, not worth the $1K

Im sure if we all put our heads together we can come up with something better?

Not so, the only difference would be that the part inside of A,R,D would have to be physically glued to the red lens. Thus when you turn on the lights it would still look as if you hadn't made the alteration. And since you are using the actual cut out it will still be the same height.
