A strange phenomenon occured as I was leaving work tonight. Earlier today I called up Trilogy Motorsports and spoke to Jerry and Donna. Skipping ahead, I get off the phone, back to work, and later on when I was leaving I reached into my pocket to get my car keys and something was attached to the keyring...

Thank you everyone. I can't get the smile off my face.

When Jerry calls me and lets me know the kit is ready I hope the Motor City crew can get a lunch together at this famous Capers I've heard so much about. I'll come up on a weekend, leave early from Chicago, arrive around noon, and try to to make it home before 20:00. What do you guys say? Out of towner picking up his Trilogy - time for a Capers meet?

I think we can get together for another killing of the cow. You have my number, let me know when. BTW, the Autorama is the weekend of March 3rd through the 5th. Maybe your kit will be finished that weekend. If it is you owe it to yourself to go.

Sounds great! You won't regret it!

BTW, if picking up the kit, beware, the big box doesn't fit in the trunk or the through the doors to the backseat. :) I found this out the hard way! Luckily it can be broken down...(the box that is)

Anyway, CONGRATS!!! :burnout:

For that matter, you should've seen my on the ride to my folks to do the install. I had the trunk full, backseat half full with room for my dog, front passenger seat with my laptop/work bag and small suitcase, and the last available seat had big 'ol me in it. I never thought I'd fill up my MM like that, funny how well all that stuff fits on the car once it's installed. :)

Well I had a choice, Joe, sell the MM and move onto another vehicle or continue putting money into it. Having already invested 6-7k WITHOUT a Supercharger things weren't looking too good. I did some research on different options, such as a different car, too. I can't sell this car, Its too awesome. Even Naturally Aspirated this car is very comfortable, has a lot of options, looks menacing, and turns heads. I could have gone out and gotten a GTO if I wanted to, but what is cooler than a 4500# Marauder pulling away from the stop light howling under the hood and leaving the guy next to me in the dust? It's typically the younger crowd that gets small or lightweight cars (Camaros, Mustangs) and modifies those, and not usually the young guy that buys a barge on wheels and gets it to push near 400 RWHP and, according to Trilogy's website, 0-60 MPH in less than 5 seconds. So I had a choice to sell it and lose what I've invested in it, or let the sickess take over and...well...I don't have any regrets.

Congrats!

I'm biased of course, but I think you made the right choice in keeping the Marauder and SCing it. You'll be unique relative to the thousands of hopped up mustangs and ricers. Our SC Marauders still gather more interest than any mustang, camaro, GTO, ricer.

Enjoy the new found power! See you at Capers!

CONGRATS!!!! And, YOU SUCK!!!!;)

I am very glad you decided to keep the Marauder. You have a sweet looking car, have done some tasteful updates, and I can't wait to hear that Trilogy power flowing through those SpinTechs.

No wonder you are working on the Trilogy video. I can't wait until the final cut is done to use as my continued motivation to eventually get my Trilogy setup.

Enjoy.:burnout:

Congrats on the investment. I've got #75 trilogy and it is fun, to say the least. I was able to get all the boxes in the trunk though. After moving the spare to the floor behind the drivers seat that is. Good luck getting it installed.

Dude;

You've blown me away. I just happened to actually read your signature, because you change pictures a lot I didn't pay attention when the latest one popped up. Awesome, I'm really proud of you, congratulations and good luck on the exams.

Maybe next year will be my time, family priorities you know.

Who's going to do the install or is that too far ahead now?

hehe, thanks Pat, as you can see in the signature I ordered a couple other goodies :D

Self-install, I'll be working on it every day after work, and my brother will help out on some of those days if he can.

Thanks for the good luck, finals tomorrow  Then NREMT finals the weekend after next  After that I'll have time on the weekend to hit Dearborn and meet some new people, oh yeah, maybe take a home a supercharger :)
