Lidio/Jerry or any Trilogy owners.
Trying to avoid a problem here. My car will be sitting at the airport for a few days with really cold weather approaching. I thought I would check if anyone has tips for starting when it is really cold; 10F to -10F (-10 to -23C). When cold, my car does not seem to fire up and when it does it does not seem to be running on all cylinders for a few seconds.
Or if things go bad, what is the correct way to jumpstart the car?

It is in the tune. It can be corrected very easily with Lidio's help.
I believe it is called Cold_Start_Enrichment in the SCT Software

Jeremy,
Has this problem existed for long? I leave my cars out in this weather for weeks and they start slow, but I don't have any problems. I will give Lidio a call in the morning and ask his advice. Sounds odd! Have you looked at the plugs lately?

Well good old #0098 did not let me down, even after being mistreated and left at the cold dark airport. Temperature lows of -10F.
I turned off all accesories and auto lights. Hit the key and after about six seconds she rumbled to life. I am glad Jerry, Lidio and FOMOCO have this electronic engine management under control!

Jeremy,
I spoke to Lidio and we both concluded that this happens some of the Marauders under very cold conditions. We have not had any instances of Marauders failing to start, but they can run rough for a couple of minutes. Some of our cars do the same thing. So, I am glad to hear you did not have a problem.
Sincerely,
Jerry

The one and only time the Blackbird had a starting issue was during a cold snap a couple of months ago. I had to hold the loud pedal to the floor to get it to fire, then it idled rough for about 20 seconds or so. It's never done that before or since, but we mostly use the hoopty in the winter.
