You can have all of your questions answered by contacting one of the vendors here. "Alternative Performance" and "Reinhart Performance" are the two vendors to talk to. You can find them on the threads page. There are also a few different air intakes too.

oh yeah, and mine is stock to my knowlege except for different mufflers, and i thought the stock hp rating was 302? is that wrong or grossly overrated?

The overdrive on off button is on the console shift lever. It is on the left side just under the leather knob. You should be able to feel it with your thumb or just look at that area.

You can do a search on programmers or xcal 2 and it should bring up all kinds of info. I cannot say anything since one way or the other since I am still stock. But I am thinking about the xcal 2. Good luck and enjoy the ride I DO!

That is the factory rating at the crank, not at the rear wheels. Horsepower at the rear wheels is around 240-250hp.

Button for the O/D is on the shifter and it's always on. With a programmer & the right tune I believe it can be always off.

Chip or programmer? The chip used to be the only way to go but most have gone with a programmer, Xcal, Xcal2 or Diablo now since you can make your own modifications to a tune.

Cold air intake. There are 2 complete systems... JLT & K&N, I believe both do the same thing, JLT is about $100.00 cheaper and is a supporting vendor.

you have an 03 so Xcal2 will do you wonders for the tranny shifting issues. Car was night and day with tune on highway.

I would choose a programmer. You can do a lot with the new ones. Look under Reviews. There is an SCT review under Engines and a Predator review under Misc.

black 03, for a stock Marauder, the SuperChips MicroTuner-1725 is perfect for you. I purchased the Xcal-1 due to my mods and still have the 1725, I'm willing to part with it for a resonable price, if interested PM me to exchange info. Thanks:)
