Thank you friends for all the congrats and best wishes. I was surprised when Joe asked me yesterday to get married. There has been some hints and comments made in the past month, but I thought it would be a bit yet, before he would ask me.

Since we both have been married once before, we are not going with the traditional wedding, but thinking more of places or things that are special to us. We have talked about Vegas, or waiting until the October when we go to Chicago for the Siberian Husky Specialty or even in the fall with the colors at hiking trail we enjoy going to with Keema & Betsy in the past. Being the smart a$$ I can be at times, I even suggested that we get married the weekend of the annual canoe trip, since we both love the outdoors and many of our friends will be there that weekend :D . Joe thinks that is a great idea, which shocked me......geesh, I was kidding. Gee, tin cans tied to the canoe :P . As soon as we make the decision of when & where, I will let you know.

And thank you again for all the happy wishes. And yes Dan.....Joe is a dog lover :)

The vows will be after we are done canoeing the river that day. Then we are having an open house/wedding reception 2 or 3 weeks afterwards for all of our friends and family.
