Would a bigger fuel pump gain any significant gains on a N/a Marauder with an appropriate tune? Should I even bother getting one if I plan to stay N/a? I am thinking of doing it the not too distant future along with a gear swap to 4.10s. If I go with a bigger fuel pump, I should also change my fuel injectors right? What size should I go with? Do even need to get larger injectors? Can I get away with just a bigger fuel pump?

No, it won't make a difference. Fuel delivery won't become an issue until you're pushing ~400hp. All you'll be doing is killing low rpm gas milage. The computer can only shorten the pulse width of the injectors to a certain amount and this would be overkill on a N/A motor at idle.

Not worth it at all on a NA motor. Zero gains. Your stock fuel system can easily feed the power a stock NA car is making regardless of the tune.

I thought it was simple. Please tell me you did NOT remove the tank from the car!

I thought it was simple. Please tell me you did NOT remove the tank from the car! When I had my stock pump changed to the Focus SVT Pump the tank had to be dropped. 2 other's I know had to drop it also. Steven save your money and a head ache, you would gain nothing at all changing the fuel pump on a N/A Marauder. I had 443 RWHP on my Trilogy Marauder with the stock pump with the Kenny Bell Boost pump on 10 and it didn't lean out at all. Again save your money for some thing else.

There is no need to drop the fuel tank when replacing the pump. Anyone who says you have to does not know what they are talking about.

So to sum it up in a nut shell your saying that most of us here are idiot's & we don't know what we are talking about. Let's see you do it with out dropping the tank. Maybe your one of those guys that could change a tire with out taking it off the car.

Cobra25 and TopCat....., is it very similar to a 94CV? If the car is lifted by the frame and letting the axle drop or lifting by the axle, anyway, one of the two ways allowed the fuel pump to be pulled in and out on the old car without tank removal.

Which way does it work on the MM?

Tank doesn't have to be removed, just dropped about an inch or 2 on the right side.

I never said it had to be removed . I said it had to be dropped. Top Cat said thier was no need to drop the tank so that means it stay's where it is . End of story.

Right you are Zoltan. Zack said in his post "removed" before yours. You said "dropped" which in all plausability means "lowered" but you did not say removed.

Does this still mean you have no idea what you are talkin about?

Shake hands over this at the Picnic with Topcat. He's going isnt he?

Puzzle this Zoltan......if your thinking of saying something but you say it by other means or methods, did you really say it in the first place or think another person said it because you never personally said it, and would not think to do it yourself, but it was said, although not by you, was it ever really said by you although you thought of it and would have liked to have said it personally?
