Nate,
The power to pin 16 of the diagnostic link connector (DLC) comes from fuse #105 (30a) in the power distribution box behind the battery on the Pass.' side under the hood. Check that first. If okay, post up or pm and I'll guide you a little more. By the way, love your cars.

Good luck,

J

Yeah, sounds like you have no power to the port. The xcal2 should be making some happy beepy noises as soon as it is plugged into the port with the ignition turned off.

*Update...My Xcal worked on his car and his didn't on my car. after examination and comparison his Xcal was missing 3 pins. Not shure if that was the reason behind why it didn't work on the car but on USB.

Is your X-Cal 2 split on one side? Usually the right side isn't as tight as the other. With enough flexing, your warranty stick will tear. I've gone through 2 of the X-Cal 2s with my dealer.

I understood the part about the pins. However, I've gotten 2 X-Cal 2s that were not sealed completely and you can practically remove the covers. Now, I heard the new X-Cal 2's (within the past few weeks or so) are tight, but SCT has admitted that they are now investigating this. I had two X-Cal 2's with 1.10 Firmware that were coming apart. There are a half dozen other folks on SCT's forums and Modular Depot's SCT forums with the same problem, so it is not an isolated incident. If the X-Cal 2 were $100 or $200, it wouldn't be so bad. But for $400, it should have went through QC first.
