Want to hear some feedback on the difference in ride quality after installing new control arms.
A stock suspension MM rides very smooth, do the control arms make the ride less smooth. I know there will be a difference, but not sure if I want to trade the smoothness for TOO stiff ride.
I don't think the sway bars affect ride quality, but want to hear satisfaction/dissatisfaction with handling.
Do the Control arms really affect the "Hook Up" of the MM? Street? Strip?
Are METCOs the only way to go for the arms, or are there other choices? Prices?
Who has Front Sway bars? I've seen the Rear. Where to buy Fronts?
Thanks for the help.

I know there will be a difference, but not sure if I want to trade the smoothness for TOO stiff ride.I have the Zack & Mac control arms and the Addco rear sway bar from Dennis, and they don't affect ride quality at all. The only thing they do is vastly improve the handling... :D

Same set up here. Noticed a definite handling upgrade, especially going around corners or taking highway jug handles at 60 mph,....well at least 45... :-)

I just Googled Zack & Mac Control Arms and nothing came up. What vendor has those?

SergntMac, and Zack, on the board. They do not sell these anymore but you might find a used set around. The only other control arm setup I am aware of is Metco.

I have the Metco upper & lower rear control arms & Watts link and the Addco front & rear sway bars..... no difference in the ride quality from a stock MM but the handleing is unbelieveable.... have to be careful to corner within the limits of the tires...

I purchased both the front and rear sway bars from Dennis. Handling wise my Marauder is stock except for the front and rear sway bars. The car corners 100% better but the ride is a little ruffer. Friends have told me that they notice the ride is a little ruffer as well.

Actually, they do. When you hit a bump or a pot hole with one wheel only, at stiffer sway bar will resist that movement more. That translates into a rougher ride. There will be less difference when hitting something with both wheels (e.g. speed bump) since the bar will just rotate instead of twist. The only difference you might feel is the OE bar is bonded to the bushings and forces the bushings to wind up whereas the aftermarket bars rotate inside the bushings. You may not feel that difference.

Good info guys, thanks. So it's fair to say that normal cruising is not affected, feel wise. But bumps will be stiffer, and cormering will be stiffer.
