After dropping my youngest son off at school today, I was heading to work on a major thoroughfare on my way to the beltway, when along came beside me a young "man" in a Honda something. He had the obligatory loose knit floppy hat on and about 5 or so gauges on the a-pillar. This Japanese wonder also had some sort of home made fart can. I'll give the guy some credit, his car was clean and had a nice paint job. I digress. We are at a stop light and he looks over and revs his engine. We are in the middle of Towson (a very congested town north of Baltimore) with a ton of pedestrians crossing at any given moment. I am not about to light 'em up in that situation. I work my way through the traffic and am approaching the beltway ramp and the Honda is nowhere in sight. After driving for about a mile I hear the signature sound of a fart can and sure enough, this guy wants some of me on the beltway. Again not a safe situation, so I just cruise along at 65mph. He stays next to me for about 1/2 mile and then pulls away. I take a left hand exit which is about 3/8 mile long before the actual pull off, so I have a brilliant idea! I can pull along side this ricer boy in the left exit lane and then pull off safely at high speed. So, I pull next to him and he looks over, just the response I want. I stay with him for about 100 feet, and then go to 11.5 lbs. of boost, the Nittos hooked and I was 15 car lengths ahead of him in a couple of seconds. His head spun like it was on a swivel and I swear his mouth was hanging open. Nothing like hearing #103 @ WOT to get someones attention. I think I may have earned some respect for us "older" guys in our lead sleds! It's going to be a good day! Thanks for letting me share.

Great story Bob !! You are a model of self-restraint. Don't think that I could have held it in that long.

with power comes responsibility?

Great story... bet the Honda driver was checking to make sure his neon floormat wasn't wedged under the go-pedal!

Racing those guys is like running in the special olympics. Even when you win you're still retarded.

But yeah, occassionally you just gotta show em tailights.

I'm still a Noobie myself. Hell, even Jerry still qualifies as a Noobie.

That's all I wanted to do. My racing will be at the track! Perhaps a private one in LI!:D

I concur. I hope I still fell like a Noobie when I'm 98!

Good kill Bob. Had a similar thing happen last night witht the rauder, except with an LS1 camaro. Came flying up beside me on our major highway in town (kellog) we were running about 60 and all the sudden I hear him down shift he got out a car on me and I ended up reeling him in and putting aboout a car and a half on him, I swear I could hear his freind laughing as I waved when I passed lol. Cant wait to get the trilogy and make a car and a half become 10 plus cars LOL. It is so nice to drive the marauder again
