For those that might be interested ..... map below

Sandy Point State Park
12 Noon, 26 Feb prior to the 1 PM Big Bat's gathering.

Last exit before the Bay Bridge Toll plaza when on US 50 eastbound. Follow S. Beach Road toward the beach on the south end.

Cheeseheadbob and I have been in touch and are planning to meet at Sandy Point State Park in the lots nearest to the beach around 12 Noon on 26 February. This will be an excellent opportunity (weather permitting) to get some great shots of the MMs with the Chesapeake Bay and the bridge in the background. From there, we plan to convoy across the bridge to Big Bat's to meet up with the rest of the CAM members.

Travel time from Sandy Point State Park to Big Bat's is less than 15 minutes ... probably closer to 10. :D

If you are interested in meeting up with Bob and I. Check in on the poll attached.

There is a $3.00 entry fee for the park to get down close to the lots and the bay. :( Hope that doesn't create a problem for anyone.

I figure that it is 209 miles from Hampton, VA to Annapolis, MD. That is the William Preston Lane Memorial Bridge/US 50-301 over the Chesapeake Bay. It is not the Route 13 Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel.

Address is:
Sandy Point State Park
1100 East College Parkway
Annapolis, MD 21401

Don't use Mapquest or you will end up on the other side of the island wondering how to get the gate open.

I am glad that Haggis finally got around to voting in the poll (even if it was after-the-fact). There was someone there that looked "exactly" like him .... This just confirms my suspicions....... He was there !!! :D

I thought that the red velvet seats and the lead crystal accelerator knob were the key elements for successful time travel. The "futuristic" view of 1966 was interesting ..... I don't remember it that way at all. But I suspect that there are many who do !!!

No it was the big spinning Vortec behind his seat that gave him the power to time travel.

Well how about 'Space 1999' I don't remember the Moon being blasted out of the Earth's orbit.

And an all time personal favorite, does anyone remember the show 'UFO' it was suppose to take place in 1980.
